He stated that combined reporting of income taxes from the states would give “accurate, fair reporting on taxable income to IRS.”

Gaetz stated that the Walt Disney Company, which made $72.9 billion in revenue last year, should accurately report its income in all states and countries where it conducts business.

Gaetz urged Republicans and Democrats to work together in the state legislature on reducing this disparity in taxation.

The Florida conservative stated that he envisions a Sunshine State in which all corporations are fair and hard-working Floridians pay lower taxes. “I hope that you will join me in calling on the Florida Legislature, Democrats and Republicans to end the Disney tax loophole.
Gaetz’s proposal is the latest example of how Republicans are fighting back against the megacorporation’s “woke” crusade.
