Biden Administration Supports Transgender Youths Sex-change, ‘Top Surgery’ And Hormone Therapy

The Administration of President Biden has published a series of documents encouraging gender-reassignment surgeries and hormone treatments for minors.

On Thursday, the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Population Affairs published a document titled “Gender-Affirming Care and Young People”. On the same day, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s National Child Traumatic Stress Network (another subset of HHS) released a parallel document titled “Gender-Affirming care is trauma-informed care.”

According to HHS, the documents provide details of what it considers appropriate treatment options for transgender adolescents. These include “Top” surgery – to make male-type chest shapes or breast enhancements; and “Bottom” surgery – surgery on genitals, reproductive organs, or facial feminization.
