Biden Administration Supports Transgender Youths Sex-change, ‘Top Surgery’ And Hormone Therapy

The OPA release states that “Medical and psychosocial Gender affirming Healthcare Practices have been shown to lower rates of adverse mental health outcomes, build self-esteem and improve the overall quality of life for transgender youth.”

The NCTSN document is much longer than the OPA’s outline, but it reiterates the same thought process as the explanation for minors who receive alterations to their sexual organs.

The NCTSN released the following statement: “For transgender children and adolescents, gender-affirming early care is crucial for overall health and well-being as it allows them to focus on social transformations and can increase confidence while navigating the healthcare system.” It may include evidence-based treatments such as hormone-affirming hormones and puberty-blockers.
