YouTube Finally Separates Shorts from Regular Videos

YouTube has updated its app and website so that Shorts, live streams and regular videos have their own tabs on the creator’s channel. The company stated in a support post that the changes were based on user feedback and will “make it easier for to viewers discover the types of content they are most interested in when exploring creator’s channel pages.”

You used to see one tab called “videos” when you went to a channel. This showed you all of the uploads from that user, including live streams and short videos. Although there’s a filter that allows you to change the format of the list, it resets every time you leave the page. This means that everything will appear again when you return.
