Samsung’s New Gaming Monitors Include a 8K, 57 Inch Ultra-wide Monitor

A curved OLED gaming screen with 49 inch resolution has been revealed by the company

It features many of the same features found in the Odyssey G8. They both have a 1ms response speed, a thickness of 3.6mm, and a screen curve of 1800R. The screen also has adaptive sync and AMD FreeSync Premium to reduce screen tearing. Each has a Neo Quantum Processor, which Samsung claims can produce “brighter whites and deeper blacks” as well as HDR True Black 400. You’ll find MiniDisplayPort, HDMI, and USB-C. The latter can charge up to 65W. The Samsung Gaming hub provides access to cloud gaming services like NVIDIA GeForce Now and Xbox Cloud Gaming.

However, the Samsung Odyssey G95SC is believed to be the first OLED gaming monitor on the planet with a 32/9 aspect ratio. It features a refresh rate of 240Hz and a Dual Quad-HD display at 5,120×1,440 resolution.

A new Smart Monitor version is available with support for cloud gaming and video streaming, along with Microsoft 365 apps, and a SmartThings hub. The Smart Monitor M80C 32-inch, 4K, 16/9 display has a slim-fit camera.

The latest model features a personalization feature called My Contents. The ambient display will display the weather, photos, and schedules. Only connected devices within Bluetooth range will show the personalized content.

Samsung announced its first 5K monitor. It is targeted at creatives. The ViewFinity 27-inch S9 monitor has a resolution of 5,120×2,880 and a wide color gamut with 99 percent DCI–P3 support. It is designed to deliver clear, detailed and clean images. There’s also a matte display and a detachable 4K camera. The SmartThingsApp can be used to calibrate ViewFinity S9 using a smartphone camera and the SmartThingsApp.
