Hyundai Needs More Information after Elantra N Owner Banned from Road for Stock Exhaust

We have a brief update on the Hyundai ElantraN exhaust story that we wrote a few months back. Unfortunately, the matter has not been resolved.

If you haven’t read our previous story. Police in Riverside, California pulled the car of an entirely stock Hyundai Elantra N sedan, a few months ago. The owner was driving the vehicle in N mode, which is for track use. This increases the sound and character of the exhaust. The driver informed the cop about the noise level when he approached him. He said that the vehicle was stock and was being driven in track mode. The officer apparently did not like this.
