The First Footage taken from Ahsoka Confirms Star Wars Rebels Link
Ahsoka! What a journey you’ve made since your Clone Wars Padawan days.
Few Star Wars characters have seen such a dramatic evolution as Ahsoka Tano. The character of Anakin Skywalker, was first seen in the series Star Wars. She became the show’s ostensible protagonist over its seven-season run. After appearing in the sister series Rebels and being voiced again by Ashley Eckstein, her original character, Ahsoka, made the leap to live-action with Mandalorian’ssecond-season. Ahsoka is now being played by Rosario Dawson. The first footage from Star Wars Celebration gave us a glimpse of what to expect.
Ahsoka returns to The Mandalorian, where she briefly guest-starred in Book of Boba Fett. The Mandalorian’s titular ex-Jedi is on the hunt for Rebels protagonist Ezra Bridger. Ezra used giant space whales and Grand Admiral Thrawn’s help to get to him. The show closed with Ahsoka joining forces with fellow Rebelslead Sabine Wren in an attempt to find him. It won’t be easy, as Ahsoka, Sabine, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead are likely to meet up with one another on their journey.
