‘Sesame Street’ Emilio Delgado Dead at 81, Played Luis for 40 Years

Emilio Delgado, the actor most well-known and loved for his role in “Sesame street” — has passed away, TMZ has learned.

Carol Delgado’s spouse tells TMZ that he died Thursday in the company of his family at his NYC home. According to TMZ, Emilio was in hospice care since December 2020 when he was diagnosed as multiple myeloma.
