Carol claims Emilio was still an actor up to the pandemic. He played the lead role in “Quixote nuevo”, a theater production that ran for three cities before being shut down. In January 2022, he also did voiceover work.

This beloved Mexican-American actor was a pioneer of children’s TV. He played Luis, the Fix-It Shop’ proprietor for a total 40 years on the Street. In the late 1980s, he took a short break from the show but returned within one year.
