The First Footage taken from Ahsoka Confirms Star Wars Rebels Link

It was revealed that Natasha Liu Bordizzo would play Sabine during the panel. Bordizzo, who was seated next to the Rebelsdroid Chopper said that being the Mandalorian explosives specialist was like “being adopted into another family…I know how Sabine means [the fans],” added Bordizzo. After watching Star Wars Rebels I realized how much means to me.”

Star Wars: Ahsoka will be available on Disney+ in 2023.

Senior Reporter Germain Lussier was present at the panel and described the teaser this way:

The scene opens with a hooded man standing on a ship. The cockpit looks almost like it is a YT-1300. There are a few more beautiful shots. One of them is a hooded man walking between columns. A trio of characters enters a room. One character has a flight jacket and big green tails coming from her head. Hera Syndulla? A shot of a table and cup with a cup on top. Hera Syndulla? One hand touches the ground slowly with sand and symbols. The hood figure then takes the hood off. It’s Ahsoka. The title card followed and then the big moment. The mural is from Star Wars Rebels. A figure appears in the frame. Her hair is short and she has purple armor. It’s Sabine Wren.

Ahsoka, like Obi Wan Kenobi, will need to confront her past relationship with Anakin Skywalker. This was briefly touched upon during her time on rebels. Are you really a Jedi? If you haven’t had a conversation with your former master, how can you be one?
