Sony Announces That The PlayStation VR2 Will Be Available in 2023
Sony’s PlayStationVR2 headset will be available in “early 2023”, according to posts made by the company on Tweet and Insta. Over the past few months, Sony has been slowly leaking information about the headset. We now have at least some idea of when we can expect to receive it.
The company has yet to announce a price, although details about the headset’s design were released earlier this year. The PlayStation VR2 will feature 4K resolution displays, can run at 90 and 120Hz, have 110-degree field views, and use foveated render. This renders parts of the image sharper than others in order to make it easier for the computer (or in this case the PlayStation 5). According to the company, the headset can be connected to your console using a single USB C cable.
