This war has led to cancelled launches of spacecraft and broken contracts. Dmitry Rogozin of Roscosmos, the Roscosmos chief has warned that the US would need to fly in space using “broomsticks” after Russia stopped supplying rocket engines for US companies. Rogozin’s threat to decades of peaceful off-planet partnerships, particularly at the station, is worrying.
