Russian Cosmonauts Board ISS With Colours From Ukraine Flag

Trio was seen changing shortly before their arrival at the space station. One said that every crew member could choose their suit.

Three Russian cosmonauts arrived at the International Space Station in yellow flight suits with blue accents. These colours match the Ukrainian flag.

They were the first people to land on the station since the beginning of the Russian war in Ukraine last week.

Oleg Artemyev (cosmonaut), Denis Matveyev (cosmonaut), and Sergey Korsakov (cosmonaut), of Russian space corporation Roscosmos successfully launched from the Baikonur rocket facility in Kazakhstan in their Soyuz MS-21 Spacecraft on Friday, at 8.55pm local. They arrived at the station in less than three hours, joining four Americans, a German, and two Russians.
