The first blocks were created Friday, one day before the June 26th deadline. According to Internet Access Monitoring org, some service providers include Yahoo, Steam, and PayPal.

Other sources from Indonesia also reported not being able to access Battlenet, Epic Games, and other gaming portals used daily by millions of Indonesian players.

Blocks appear to be the result of a coordinated effort by Kominfo and all other major ISPs (internet service providers) in the country. Some smaller ones, however, still violate the new regulations.

Multiple user reports have shown that VPNs are able to bypass the block for now. However, when used with electronic payment services and gaming portals, it might cause problems with network speed or account fingerprint mismatches.
