Google Continues Scroll to Desktop Search Results

Google statement “So, starting today we’re bringing continuous Scrolling to the Desktop so that you can continue to see helpful search results with fewer clickings. A spokesperson for Google told Search Engine Land that it’s easier to find inspiration with more information available at your fingertips.

Google said that up to six pages will automatically be shown when you reach the bottom search results page. If you want to go further, you can click on “More Results” to see more.

US English. This feature is currently being rolled out across all English search results in the U.S., but it may take some time for all U.S. users.

Why we care. This could encourage searchers (or not) to scroll through more results than the first few. This could impact your Search Console data as searchers might scroll more or less.
