Elon Musk is ‘Serious” About Turning Twitter’s Headquarters into a ‘Homeless Shelter’

Elon Musk, the entrepreneur, stated over the weekend that he seriously considered turning Twitter’s headquarters into an emergency shelter for homeless people because so many people work remotely.

Musk teased the idea first in a Twitter poll. He asked, “Convert Twitter SF HQ into a homeless shelter since nobody shows up anyway[?]. ]”

More than 91% of respondents voted “y” or yes, with more than a 1.5million votes cast.

Musk wrote later about the idea: “I’m serious regarding this one btw.”
