Buses sent by GOP Texas Governor to transport migrants arrive in D.C.

Psaki stated last week that she wasn’t aware of the authority the governor would have to do this when she was asked about Abbott’s busing plan. She also said that the administration would assist migrants in finding a place to live once they arrive in D.C.

She said that she believes it was a publicity stunt. 

His own office acknowledges that a migrant must voluntarily be transported, but he cannot force them to do so. Again, the federal government is responsible for enforcing our immigration laws, and not any state.

It is not clear how many migrants were on Wednesday’s bus and where they went after they arrived in D.C.
