Cheney states that the Jan. 6 panel has sufficient evidence to refer Trump to criminal charges

” Cheney stated that the panel has not yet made a decision on moving forward with the referral.

The New York Times reported the conclusion of the committee that there is enough evidence to warrant a referral for a criminal prosecution, but that leaders were split on whether or not to do so.
