Zoom’s Mac Version Latest Update Includes A Fix of A Dangerous Security Flaw
Zoom has released a patch to fix a bug in macOS that could enable a hacker to take control of a user’s operating systems ( via McRumors). Zoom has published an update to its security bulletin. It acknowledges the problem (CVE-20222-28756) and states that a fix is available in version 5.11.5.

Patrick Wardle, a security researcher who founded the Objective-See Foundation (a non-profit that makes open-source macOS security software), first discovered the flaw. He presented it to the Def Con hacking conference. Corin Faife was my colleague and reported on Wardle’s findings.
