Ho Hum Weekend as a ‘Top Gun 2’ Rockets Return to Chart

Normal times would see Hollywood studios continue to release events films through August. The entertainment industry is struggling to recover from the pandemic, and this year it’s different.

Bullet Train has been deemed the last major Hollywood studio title for summer 2022. It is doing well and should make $13 million from 4,357 theaters this weekend for a domestic total of $54.2million over 10 days. Bullet Train is likely to lose more than 57% from its debut weekend, despite the fact that there’s not much competition. However, this isn’t uncommon for a male-skewing action movie. Friday’s movie grossed $3.9 million.
