Sonic Frontiers Will Provide The Same Experience As Other Platforms

Sonic Frontiers for the Switch may not be “next-gen”, but Takashi Iizuka says there is nothing to be concerned about.

Gamereactor was informed by Sonic Team boss, who said that Sega wanted Switch players to have the same experience as other platforms such as “high-end” PCs. Sonic Team has repeatedly updated the Hedgehog Engine that the game runs on over the years in order to make multiplatform development easy. Although the Switch version will not have the same “high end assets” as the PC, it is still “very similar”.
