The Navy plans to organize the study of land Sea Cyber Defense Technology during September 2022. This will be a two-week-long exercise, which the military will regulate. This is a golden chance for developers to showcase their technology capabilities in realistic scenarios.

The real-time exercise is set to be organized in early September this year. The leading techies can perform in real-time and show how powerful their method is to provide a cyber defense.

Yes, you can participate in this exercise and display your potential at the national level. The exercise is open to all the candidates. If you’re interested in participating in this cyber defense technology exercise, submit your proposal to the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic’s new commercial solutions opening by March 29, 2022.

The names associated with the Exercise are Cyberspace Defense in Denied, Degraded and Disconnected Environments (Cyber) Advanced Naval Technology Exercise, or ANTX 2022. So, the exciting news is that after the first exercise in September, the selected candidates will move to the second phase. 

The second phase includes twelve to eighteen-month-long prototyping and experiment projects to make the technology potent and unbeatable. Also, this round includes a rapid fielding option which will decide which technology will go to operational units.

This will be an extensive period where all the forces will come together to make the technology unbeatable and secure. So, this is a golden chance to display, select and make your original technology serve the Government defense forces.

Greg Hays, NIWC Atlantic’s senior scientific technology manager for rapid prototyping and fleet exercises, said that the Navy department wants to test the smartness and creativity of every citizen of America to practical capabilities. He further added that by organizing such activities with low barriers like CSOs and ANTXs, we can more rapidly bring new technology into the system and win the information war.

Cyber ANTX drills will be different from the past exercises. They will include complex traditional routines with particular assets available at the National Cyber Range Complex in Charleston, South Carolina.

In addition, there will be an organized survey by defense officials to take out incredible technologies and develop tactics to shield the defensive cyber operation for systems in the sea or the shore.

The drill is sponsored by the U.S. Fleet Cyber Command, Marine Forces Cyber Command, and Naval Information Warfare Systems Command; the professionals will test the technologies. In addition, they will perform a cyber incident and test the capabilities of all the ships and their response.
