Meta Introduces New Reels Features to Instagram and Facebook that Includes An ‘Add Yours’ Sticker

Meta also allows users to easily cross-post Reels from Instagram and Facebook.

This will enable creators to create communities on both social media networks and take part in the monetization programs offered both by Instagram and Facebook, according to the company.

Meta will also launch auto-created Facebook Reels. These are Reels that have been compiled from previously shared Facebook Stories. This new feature will make it easier for you to share your favorite memories as Reels. It’s not surprising that Meta is focusing more on Reels. The company wants to encourage users turn their Stories into Reels.

Today’s feature update also includes new Facebook Reels insights for Creator Studio. Meta claims that the new insights will allow creators to identify which Facebook Reels are doing well. Creators will have access to new metrics such as Reach, Minutes viewed, and Average Watch Time.

Meta has launched new Reels Remix features to Facebook Reels. You can now mix Facebook Reels in a sequential fashion. You can now have your remix side-by-side with the reel’s original reel. The new option also allows you to show your clip after the reel.

Meta has been investing heavily in Reels and just announced that any new video posts shorter than 15 minutes would now be shared as Reels by Instagram. Some users may be upset by the change, which could pose some problems. It could be more difficult to upload horizontal videos if they are uploaded in vertical Reels formats. The move was not unexpected considering Instagram had been hinting at these plans for a while. When Adam Mosseri, the Instagram head, laid out Instagram’s priorities for 2022 last year, he stated that the company would focus more on Reels and double down on video.

Meta is increasing its focus on Reels. This is no surprise considering that Reels is a huge moneymaker at a time when the company’s revenue is beginning to fall. Zuckerberg noted recently that Meta has earned more than $1 billion annually from Reels ads. Zuckerberg also mentioned that Reels have been watched by more people than ever before. However, it is possible that this increase could be due to the fact that Reels are being served by the algorithm.
