Mark Zuckerberg: Meta will test selling virtual products in the metaverse

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg hopes to make it easier to buy and make money on Horizon Worlds’ virtual reality platform. This is an integral part of Meta’s plan to create a “metaverse.”

The tech billionaire, Meta, said in a video posted late Monday as part of a Blogpost that Meta is currently testing new tools that will allow creators to make virtual assets and experiences available for sale within the Horizon worlds they create.

Zuckerberg stated that “the ability to sell virtual goods and have access to items inside the worlds are a new part [of] the e-commerce equation overall.”
