According to the emails, Eastman and other Trump aides discussed various ways to stop Congress from certifying 2020 election results. This includes weaponizing the courts.

What they are saying: Judge David Carter wrote last month in court papers that this may be the first time President Trump’s staff has transformed a legal interpretation under the Electoral Count Act to a day-by, plan of action.
