David Beckham, England Football Legend, Stood in Line for 13 Hours to Pay Tribute to The Queen

After queuing for hours with other members of the public, England football legend David Beckham paid respects to Queen Elizabeth II.

He was seen in Westminster Hall, where the body of the late monarch is currently lying in state, at 3:25 p.m. on Friday afternoon, 13 hours after his first sighting in the queue.

Beckham spoke to reporters on Friday while still waiting in line earlier, and said that he’d been waiting more than 12 hours.

Beckham stated, “We all want the opportunity to be together and to celebrate the extraordinary life of Queen Elizabeth II.”

“You understand that something like this today was meant to be shared with you. You know that we have been there. Pringles are what we’re having. The football player continued, “We’re eating Sherbet Lemons and sandwiches and coffee.”
