Amazon offers a number of services to low-income customers such as discounted Amazon Prime membership. Amazon Grocery, Amazon Fresh, and Whole Foods customers can also receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits. According to the company, the new portal will be a central hub that provides all these benefits in one place.

“Given the difficult economic climate in which many are facing rising costs for essential needs, we want customers to be aware of all the Amazon Access accessible offerings no matter their circumstance,” stated Nancy Dalton (head of community partnerships at Amazon Access).
