Tom Cruise to Reportedly Fly Into Space with “The Bourne Identity” Director

That’s the plan. Tom is working on a great project. We plan to launch a rocket to the Space Station, and then shoot.

According to BBC News, however, the majority of the film will be “on earth” and then the character must travel to space to save it. Langely stated this to BBC News.

Langely, a British woman who has been the first to manage a major American film production studio, said that Cruise would be the “first civilian to perform a spacewalk from outside the space station.”

This idea was brought to Langley by Cruise and Liman through a Zoom call during a pandemic.

She said that Cruise had reached out to her directly and told her: “Guys. I have this great project, and here it is.”

She pointed out that the movie is still in its early stages and that the industry is trying to return to pre-pandemic levels.

According to media outlets, the “Top Gun” actor who is heading to space remains at an “aspirational” level.

Before COVID-19 had an impact on the world, the Space Shuttle Almanac announced that it was preparing to launch Cruise and Liman into space.

The company shared this post in a September 2020 Tweet.

“So it is confirmed that @CommanderMLA will fly the @Axiom_Space #CrewDragon tourist missions with Director @DougLiman and Tom Cruise. One remaining seat is available. They will be launched in October 2021.

Cruise would be the star of the first movie shot in outer space by the International Space Station.
