Video of an Extraordinary Rainbow Waterfall in Yosemite National Park

A resurfaced video showing a rainbow at Yosemite National Park has been drawing attention on social media.

Over 653,000 people have viewed the view from the California-based park’s mountainside. Nearly 57,000 people have liked it. Yosemite, which is found in four California counties, covers approximately 761,747 acres. This makes it 16th in national park size.

Greg Harlow, a Salt Lake City-based photographer who specializes both in outdoor photography and videography, is believed to have filmed the footage. The National Park Service (NPS) has documented footage taken at the site in 2017. It explains “very high winds and the perfect time” at 9 a.m., as well as unusually heavy water for November 2017.

Harlow describes the special circumstances that led to a 2,400-foot rainbow fountain, which Harlow posted on his YouTube channel.
