Taylor Swift Adds 8 Additional Dates to the U.S. Stadium Tour

Additional cities that will get the third night are Foxborough, Mass. (on May 14), and Philadelphia (on May 21). (May 21), and East Rutherford (May 28).

Two nights are being offered at locations in Tampa (April 14), Nashville (May 5), Seattle (July 23), and Santa Clara (July 28,).

Swift has not changed her original rollout plan.

She is determined to work weekends for this tour or at least the U.S. leg. Swift was booked for previous shows on Saturdays and Fridays. She will be performing at four of the new gigs on Sundays, three on Fridays, and one on Thursdays, with the L.A. Addition being the only show that falls outside of a three day weekend.

Tickets aren’t yet on sale for any of these shows. Swift’s camp may be adding shows because they see demand. However, early registrations for the Ticketmaster Verified Fan platform (not actual sales) show that Swift is adding shows to meet this demand. It’s also common sense, especially after Swift’s phenomenal success with “Midnights”, which means that there is more demand than supply and not multiple dates being sold in most markets.

Although three nights at SoFi may seem like a lot, it is not unusual for pop stars to be there, even though the venue has only been open for a short time. The Weeknd announced that he will be performing at SoFi on November 23rd. BTS performed four nights at the L.A. arena in late 2012, generating a gross of $33.3million, which Billboard stated was the highest-grossing show at one location since 2012. Swift could surpass BTS’s recent record if she added a fourth night to any stadium on her tour — which is a big if.

The 2023 tour starts March 18, 2023, in Glendale, Arizona. This is the same city where her last outing, “Reputation”, began in 2018. Glendale is still the only city that has one show on the schedule. L.A. reached the end of its run in early august.

Swift has said that there are no international dates, but they have not been announced.
