South Carolina beats UConn to win the NCAA Women’s National Title

Although the Gamecocks were able a few comeback attempts, it was dominant throughout. South Carolina opened the game with a 17-4 lead and entered halftime leading 35-27.

After a Paige Bueckers jump shot with five minutes remaining in the third quarter, the Huskies failed to score again. They were down by 46 to 37 at the end of the third quarter and have never recovered.
