Manchester City Confirming Plans for 2022 USA Pre-Season Tour

Manchester City is finalizing plans to host a 2022 preseason tour, according a Mail report. USA is the preferred destination.

The largely ongoing pandemic has caused a number of travel restrictions and Covid concerns to hamper the pre-season.

Pep Guardiola, Manchester City and Manchester City had to prepare their matches for the ongoing season by following a preseason schedule at Manchester’s academy.

Pep Guardiola’s squad played three matches against Championship opponents in Preston North End (Barnsley), Barnsley and Blackpool at club’s Academy Stadium. This was opposite the Etihad Stadium.

Manchester City may return to normal after preparations for 2022/2023 could be completed. Plans are being made to fly the squad and players to the USA for a preseason tour.
