After A Car Accident, Anne Heche, Actress, Has A Long Recovery Ahead

Anne Heche is still in intensive care and hospital after her car crashed into a Los Angeles residence on Friday.

“Anne is currently in the ICU. She’s fortunate to be alive. She is still recovering from severe burns. She and her family are still processing what caused the crash,” Heche’s close friend told CNN Saturday morning.

According to Jeff Lee, Los Angeles Police Public Information Officer Jeff Lee, the vehicle was moving at a high speed when it collided with a house.

Paramedics from Los Angeles Fire Department took Heche to a local hospital in critical condition. 

According to the LAFD, firefighters took more than an hour “access, confine, and fully extinguish stubborn flames within this heavily damaged structure.”

Other injuries were not reported. CNN reached out to Heche representatives for comment.
