Kim Kardashian Gets Divorce Bids from Kanye. She’s now a Single Lady

Kim was asked a series questions known as the “prove-up” to close the hearing. These included “Are you having problems in your marriage?” Do you believe counseling can save your marriage? Kim replied “yes” to both the first and second questions.

According to TMZ’s source, Kanye also wants the divorce granted. He is now a single man.

TMZ reported that Kanye dropped his fourth divorce attorney, Chris Melcher… We are told that there was very little communication between Kanye Melcher and Melcher, which made the relationship extremely difficult. Kim has been filing for divorce for just over a year. Melcher was also whipsawed, according to our sources. One day Kanye wanted the separation and the next day he wanted to continue fighting for the marriage.

Kim has been asking the judge for a restoration of her single status since December when she stated in documents that she wanted to divorce. She said that she had asked Kanye not to make their divorce public, but he refused, and that his social media posts had caused her “emotional distress.”
