Kim Kardashian Gets Divorce Bids from Kanye. She’s now a Single Lady

Kim was present on a video conference for Wednesday’s court hearing. Her lawyer Laura Wasser was there, and Kanye was not. Kanye’s lawyer was not opposed to Kim being restored to single status. However, his lawyer stated that he had three conditions: 1. that he would be entitled to reimbursement for money that is supposed to be split up in the event that either of them died. The judge accepted that condition.

The judge also rejected 2 conditions: Kim would not transfer assets she held in trust and Kim would waive her “marital privilege” if she remarried. This privilege allows a spouse to not testify about any communications he made with her. The judge said no.
