After a nearly seven-week Virginia trial, in which there were allegations of domestic violence as well as sexual assault, a jury found Depp defamed by Heard on all counts. Depp was awarded damages in the amount of $10.35million. Heard lost the defamation suit, but she was awarded $2 million in her countersuit after jurors determined that Depp had defamed him through his attorney.

The 59 year-old actor will release a catalogue of songs Friday with Beck titled “18,” which includes two of the ballads from the 13-track album, which Depp reportedly wrote.

Depp sings, “I think you’ve had enough for one motherf—king evening,” according to The Sunday Times.

Depp sings, “You’re sitting here like a dog with a seven year itch. If it were a dime, you wouldn’t be able to reach your hands.”

The album is in production for three years and includes Motown covers as well as songs from John Lennon, Beach Boys and Velvet Underground.

Beck stated, “When Johnny started playing with me, it really ignited my youthful spirit and creativity.” “We joked about how we felt 18, so that became the album title.”

“This is Miss Hedy Lamarr’s Song” is Depp’s original song and the album’s opening track.

Beck described the track as “amazing”. “That song was one of the reasons that I asked Beck to make an album. “

Since the trial ended, Beck and Depp have been on tour throughout Europe. According to reports, the actor “isn’t even talking about it anymore” and “just wants his life back.”
