James Hong, 93, finally receives a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

James Hong, an Asian American actor who has been a prolific performer, was awarded a star on Tuesday by the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Hong, 93 years old, was joined by celebrities Jamie Lee Curtis and Daniel Dae Kim. He unveiled his star during a ceremony. This made him one of 19 Asian-Americans to walk out of the more than 2,700 people. Hong shared his excitement with the fans and co-stars.

“As you can see I don’t have speeches because I’m not that type of person. I’m just here. Hong stated that he wanted to “feel the moment” before showing off his best dance moves.

Hong, who has 700 credits including the Disney original “Mulan” and “Blade Runner”, was honored at a ceremony attended by many of his co-stars. Many of his co-stars from the sci-fi comedy ” Everywhere All At Once” were also present. In this film, he plays Gong Gong (the father of Evelyn), and is a part of the comedy’s recent cast. In addition to speeches, he also organized a lion dance.
