How to View NASA’s Artemis 1 Moon-Mission Launch Live in 360-degree VR

“Artemis Ascending” will take viewers right beside the historic moon launch scheduled for Monday (Aug. 29.)

NASA’s Artemis 1 moon mission is set to launch this week. You can participate in a live ringside experience.

Artemis Ascending,” which uses 360-degree virtual reality, will allow participants to feel as if they are standing next to the Artemis1 mission when it lifts off on Monday (Aug. 29). As the Space Launch System (SLS), mega-rocket lifts the Orion spacecraft, you can virtually see it. Liftoff will take place at 8 a.m. ET (1233 GMT).
