GIRLS ONLY ALLOWED: Iowa Bans Biological Men from Women’s Sports

Republican Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds signed Thursday’s bill banning biological men from participating in women’s sports.
“This is a win for girls’ sports here in Iowa. It doesn’t matter how talented, trained or how hard you work. The natural advantages that males have over women is unavoidable. “It’s just a fact of human biology,” Reynolds stated in a statement on Thursday. It’s a violation of inclusivity to force females against males, and it’s completely unfair.

HF2416 protects Iowa’s girls’ athletic programs, at all levels of education. The new law requires student-athletes to participate in sports according to their biological sex.
