GIRLS ONLY ALLOWED: Iowa Bans Biological Men from Women’s Sports

Schools are required to identify sporting events as co-ed, male or female under the bill.

The governor’s office released a press release saying that no student will be prohibited from participating in a sport that matches their biological sex or is designated as coed.

Progressive groups quickly responded to the news with condemnation.

GLAAD President and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis stated that “state elected officials must stop targeting trans youths and their families.” “As a parent, I am so sorry for the Iowa youth who were unfairly expelled from school sports because of the unjustified law @IAgovernor Kim Reynolds’s signing today.”
