Eminem Is Now The Most Gold- And Platinum-Certified Singles Artist In History

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), today announced that Eminem has received 73.5 million new Gold & Platinum Program Certifications. This follows a huge boost in streaming following Eminem’s Super Bowl Halftime performance. The Shady/Aftermath/Interscope artist is now the number one awarded musician for singles in the program’s history and one of only seven artists in any genre or era with three or more Diamond Album Awards.

Eminem’s six RIAA Diamond awards – three singles and three albums – cement his status as one of history’s most successful artists. Eminem now has 227.5 million RIAA Award units. This includes 166 million single and 61.5million album certifications.
