Lockett replied less than 10 minutes after the tweet was sent and informed Kaepernick that he would be happy to run routes.

Kaepernick clearly was thrilled to have someone volunteer so quickly. In fact, less than 30 minutes later the ex-NFL quarterback announced that he would meet with Lockett to throw a session on Monday. This is quite a quick turnaround considering all these tweets were sent on Sunday.

They were able to set up their throwing sessions in under 24 hours, which is a clear sign that they worked together quickly. It seems like Kaepernick would fly to any NFL city to throw a few balls if one of 32 NFL teams was willing to give him a chance.
