Apple Selects the Top Apps of the Year

GoodNotes 5 was the iPad app of the year; Mac app of year was MacFamilyTree 10 ViX was the Apple TV app, and Gentler Stories LLC was the Apple Watch app.

Each winner will be presented with an award that is inspired by, the blue App Store icon

GoodNotes 5 supports Apple Pencil, MacFamilyTree 10 examines genealogy, Gentler Streak is a tracker for fitness, and ViX elevates Spanish language stories.

Apex Legends Mobile is a fast-paced mobile hit battle royale game that’s available for iPhone. Moncage’s puzzles are also available on the iPad.

Inscryption is the Mac game of the year. It uses experimental storytelling to attract players. El Hijo, on the other hand, is Wild West-themed.

Wylde Flowers is named the Apple Arcade game of year, while League of Legends Esports Manager was the China game of year.

The editors selected five cultural impact winners.

These include the daily check in app How We Feel, Locket Widget’s live photo app, Waterllama’s hydration app Waterllama and the historical and mystical adventure app Inua. Dot’s home, which highlights systemic housing injustices.
