Ray Liotta is Honored by His New Jersey Hometown

According to reports, the city may name one of its baseball fields after him as a tribute to his role in “Field of Dreams.” They are looking at the field because it is used for youth sports.

He died without any signs of health problems.

Ray was born in Newark and raised in Union Township. His family has strong ties to the area. His mom was the Township clerk and his father was a store owner and president of a local Democratic club.

Ray was inducted in 1993 into the Union High School Hall of Fame. In the same year, Ray participated in the Annual Holiday Tree Lighting ceremony.

We’ve already reported that Ray passed away in his sleep last Wednesday, at the age of 67. He was in the Dominican Republic filming “Dangerous Waters”.
