Missiles Were Fired From Iran At The U.S. Consulate

Multiple rockets were fired at the U.S. consulate in Erbil, northwestern Iraq. Several missiles hit the consulate building, a source close to the matter Told the Associated Press.

The AP reported that one of the officials claimed the ballistic missiles had been fired from Iran. Two members of the Revolutionary Guard in Iran were killed by an Israeli strike on Damascus.

The AP stated that Iran’s state-run IRNA news media quoted Iraqi media acknowledging attacks without naming their origins.

Axios also reports that a source from the U.S. State Department stated that there was no damage to any U.S. government facilities.
