Madonna Reflects on the ‘Sex’ Reaction Book from 30 Years Ago: Cardi B Can Sing about Her WAP’

Madonna wrote on Instagram that she spent the next few decades being interviewed by narrow-minded people who tried to shame her for empowerment as a woman. “I was called a witch, a whore, and a heretic, and the devil.”

Cardi B can now sing about her WAP. Madonna stated that Kim Kardashian and Miley Cyrus are both capable of grace the covers of any magazine. You’re very welcome, b—es.

Then she shared an interview video circa 1992, in which she was paired with an interviewer who was extremely uncomfortable with Sexuality.

Madonna replied, “What did it give you?” when she was asked if the book had a message.

He admitted, “I was afraid.”

“Why?” she inquired, to which he replied, “I’d never seen anything like it.”

She teased, “You have so.” She teased, “You have never read Playboy magazine or Penthouse or any similar magazine.”

He said “Yes,” but it was different with him. It was horrendous to see you masturbating in front of the mirror. It strikes me as horrendous.”

She said that she believed people’s reactions to certain situations in the book were more reflective of them than mine. The full video is available on YouTube.

The album’s first single, “Erotica,” peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100, and reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance Club Songs chart. Madonna’s Lasting Enough Love: 50 Number 1s included a remix of the song.
