Linkin Park Announces “Meteora 20th Anniversary Edition”, Shares “Lost” Single with Chester Bennington Vocals

“Lost” is one of six songs that will not be released on Meteora 20. There will also be demos, live performances, and B-sides. There will be multiple versions of the project, including a super deluxe box set and deluxe vinyl box sets, as well as a digital download and deluxe 3-CD.

The Meteora 20th anniversary reissue follows the 2020 Hybrid Theory 20th Anniversary Edition which celebrated Linkin Park’s 2000 debut

It’s a good time to stop and reflect on the process of making that record, its impact, and the opportunities it gave us to continue our careers,” Joe Hahn said to Billboard. It’s a testimony to the camaraderie among all the guys in the band, to their friendship, to how we approached the business of music making, and to how we interact with our fans.

Meteora was released in March 2003. It includes many of Linkin Park’s greatest hits, including “Numb”, “Breaking the Habit”, “Faint”, “Somewhere I Belong” and “Lying From You”. The album has sold 8.5 million album units, of which 6.5 million are traditional album sales according to Luminate.

Linkin Park will celebrate the Meteora20 announcement as well as the release of “Lost” on Friday with a Q&A at the Discord Stage. In anticipation of the April release, Linkin Park is also teasing “more surprises”.
