“Lost”, one of those songs that were never released, is now available as a fully realized, fleshed-out showcase for Chester Bennington who died in 2017. Linkin Park recorded “Lost,” for Meteora, but it didn’t make it to the final tracklist. The group discovered the song while going through hard drives for the 20th anniversary and Bennington’s riveting vocals are the highlight of the song.

Mike Shinoda, the band’s drummer, said in a press release that “Finding this song was like discovering a favorite photograph you forgot you took like it was waiting to reveal itself.” Fans have been asking for Chester’s voice for years and I’m so happy that we were able to do it in such a special manner. They’ll be stunned to hear all the amazing unreleased tracks and video footage in Meteora 20.
