University of Pennsylvania swimmer Lia Thomas made history  by becoming the first transgender woman to win an NCAA swimming competition

However, not everyone was happy for her win.

After she won, there were few cheers and some protesters held signs at Georgia Tech protesting the swimmer who had once swam on the men’s team for three years.
