Julia Garner Offers Madonna Role in Universal Biopic

The film will be set up at Universal Pictures and will focus on the early days and struggles of the controversial artist and queen’s perpetual reinvention. The script was won by Universal Filmed Entertainment Group Chairman Donna Langley, with Amy Pascal attached as a producer.

Odessa Young, Alexa Demie (Euphoria) star Alexa Pugh and Florence Pugh are all candidates for the role.

The production schedule and the other principal cast are still unknown. Bebe Rexha, Sky Ferreira and other singers were floated. Due to the heavy music, auditions were reportedly exhausting.
